No no.. I can’t skip any page..I must devour the book!
Reading… why the hell… I graduated and no longer touch books!
I lost hope.. My shelves are filled with unread books covered with dust..
I do start books, but lose interest and leave them unfinished..
I stopped spending money on books, why buy or even read when I forget all what I read?
Oh.. I’m a bookworm.. Reading is my number one hobby!
Do you relate to any of the statements above?
Have you stopped reading since you graduated?
Or are you trying to learn the books by heart?
Or have books become a way to decorate your home?

I happily consider
myself a Book-lover..
Since my childhood reading hooked me..
Children magazines and adventure series for teens fascinated me…
Getting older I got attracted to romantic novels..
Then my relationship with books got affected
Since I became a wife and a mother of two..
Overwhelmed with my responsibilities at home and at work,
I felt unhappy and started to look for a solution..
I visited the Diwan bookstore and searched for a remedy between its shelves…
Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus for John Gray triggered me..
I got it and between its pages I found what I was seeking..
Applying some of the lessons of John Gray helped me and gave me hope..
Yet the book was so rich that I started to forget many of its lessons..
Then I got the 7 habits of highly effective families for Covey..
And struggled with the same thing… Rich book, stuffed with insights and I’m struggling with putting it ALL into practice..
I started to summarise the book.. And the summary was so long and I got lost between its pages..
I kept on repeating the same cycle.. Buying a book, reading, summarising and putting some lessons into practice..
Little by little and with repetition I started to refine my strategies..
And I started to reflect and think deeply..
Wondering why some books hook me that I feel tempted to restart reading the book as soon as I finish it?
While with other books I feel suffocated and get stuck turning even one page!
Reading, pausing, thinking and reflecting..
Analysing and extracting strategies became a ritual with every book I read..
Until I develop a system consisting of 9 steps to turn the books I read into actionable steps..

Nine clear practical strategies..
And with every book I take my time to consider the book, why reading it in particular and how it could help me elevate the quality of my life or reach my goals..
And after years of practicing my system and harvesting the benefits of my strategies
I decided to offer these well-structured strategies in an online course
Books to Practice course..
In which I teach the participants the system I designed to turn the books I read into a lifestyle..

Books to Practice taught me excellent strategies on how to implement books in my life. I learned how to identify the objectives when choosing and reading a book, how to create action items for yourself, how to revisit, summarize, and organize the information after reading, and how to create a color code system for your brain to recognize certain information.
