من صغري وأنا بحب القراءة. قريت روايات كتير. ولكن لازم أعترف إن الرواية دي من الروايات المميزة جدا، مش بس عشان أعرف الكاتبة شخصيا وأثرت في ومازالت تؤثر في وفي ناس كتير حوليها.. ولكن عشان الرواية بتعبر عن اللي جوانا. الرواية بإختصار قالت اللي إحنا مش عارفين .نقوله، وبتخاطب كل سيدة وبنت من كل مستوى إجتماعي وكل الأعمار إيمان رفعت نجحت إنها تخلينا نبص على نفسنا وعلى مجتمعنا في المرايا.. دخلتنا بأسلوبها الجميل والسلس لأعماق أنفسنا. أظهرت لنا دور وأهمية المرأة اللي كنا قربنا ننساه أو بنحاول نتناساه. ظلم وقهر المرأة ليس بأمر هين، والرواية دي مكتوبة لعل المجتمع يفوق ويدرك قيمة المرأة. ورسالة إلى كل سيدة وبنت في هذا المجتمع.. دوري على حلمك، أسعي أنك تحققيه، متخليش حاجة توقفك، أوعي تسكتي عن الظلم والقمع اللي بتتعرضيله، قولي لأ لأي شخص عايز يقتل !طموحك وأحلامك! الجيل الجديد هو الأمل الحقيقي لصلاح هذا المجتمع ناس كتير من اللي قرت الرواية قالوا إن كل سيدة في مصر لازم تقرأ الرواية دي.. أنا شايفة إن الرواية دي لكل سيدة وكل ورجل و ليس فقط في المجتمع المصري بل في المجتمعات الأخرى !أيضا ورغم إن الرواية بتحكي ٣ قصص عن ٣ سيدات من مستوى إجتماعى مخلتف، إلا إن الكاتبة المتمكنة نجحت في إعطاء صورة واضحة بتفاصيل دقيقة، كأننا فعلا عايشين مع الشخصيات .دي وعاشرناهم سنين طويلة وأثبتت إن الظلم ممكن يقع على أي مرأة من أي مستوى إجتماعي غير إن حبكة الرواية متقنة وبشدة، لازم نثني على أسلوب الكتابة. إيمان رفعت نجحت تاني إني أتفاعل مع كل الشخصيات وأبقى مشتاقة أخلص الرواية عشان أعرف الأحداث في أقصى !سرعة.. الكاتبة المتمكنة فقط هي اللي تعرف تشدك للرواية المزيج من اللغة الإنجليزية والعربية وأيضا الفرنسية كانت من الحاجات اللي فاجئني وأنا بقرأ .الرواية. حسيت إني بقرأ رواية لكاتبة مصرية مثقفة ومبدعة وكنت فخورة جدا بكده أنا شخصيا هتسنى Fabulous Veils بس مش عشان تناقش مشاكل المجتمع وظلم .. 2 المرأة، ولكن عشان تناقش حال السيدات والرجال اللي قرأوا رواية Fabulous Veils وقرروا إنهم يطبقوها ويعملوا بيها رواية مصرية، كاتبة بارعة.. ومش أول مرة أقولها Chapeau . بس حقيقي المرة دي غير كل مرة أحسنت

I wanted to get married early because I wanted my freedom from my parents although my parents are quite broad-minded, still, it’s the culture that controls you. But I have to say, I was lucky to find the best husband in the world (Egyptian) and he supported my freedom and gave me the chance to utilize it in the best way possible for me. And I am sincerely grateful. Thank you for sharing this book with me. I tried to thank you via messenger but I believe it didn’t reach you.
